Stingray

Stingray

Whether you are a beginning string student or a professional musician, these violins make the transition to an electric solid body seamless. As an enhancement to their design, there is a slight symmetrical curve to each side of the body and they come with a custom-made pegbox and chin rest (shoulder pad not included).

Viper

The Viper is the most revolutionary and innovative electric violin ever offered to the modern violinist and guitarist.

With the breakthrough design of our patented Chest Support System™, the Viper is a completely self-supporting instrument. The shoulder pad and chin rest are no longer needed, allowing the player to perform for longer periods of time without experiencing the neck and back fatigue that a traditional violin can create.

Viper

Now violin players can experience the physical and musical freedom that up until now has only been available to guitarists. And guitarists can experience the expressiveness of the bow which creates everything from singing infinite sustain to crisp staccato attack.

Our Patented Chest Support System™

Chest Support System

The most exciting development in electric violins is our invention of the revolutionary lightweight Chest Support System™, which eliminates the need for a chin rest and shoulder pad, allowing the instrument to support itself. The main component is an adjustable platform and for additional strength, an adjustable chain is attached to all fretted 6 and 7-string Vipers. With the utilization of the Chest Support System™, the player now has the freedom of movement to explore options that were previously impossible such as singing, and performance "antics." In conjunction with the Chest Support System™, a guitar strap is secured from one wing of the instrument to the other and fastens comfortably around the player’s back.

Frets

Play two to three note chords like a guitar without compromising the beautiful subtleties of an acoustic violin fingerboard. All slides and bends associated with the violin still apply with frets (we file the frets lower on the D, A, E string side). Also, with frets, the player can explore many pizzicato sounds and pick-like guitar styles.
(Note: All violins are also available fretless.)

Pickups

The Viper, Sabre, and Stingray all come stock with a Schatten pickup included, with the exception of 7-string models which utilize the Barbera pickup (we encourage using a pre-amp with the Schatten). For an additional charge, we recommend the Barbera transducer bridge pickup, which has a piezo pickup under each string and produces sounds ranging from heavy metal/thrash to classical, jazz, and clean "acoustic sounding" music with great success.

Cobra Cello

Cobra

Finally, after sitting around for so many centuries, cello players can now stand up and be counted!

SAY IT LOUD:

"I'm a cellist and I'm proud!"

Announcing the BRAND NEW AND AWESOMELY AMAZING COBRA Cello! In the constant pursuit of fine-tuning the designs of all our instruments, the Viper Cello has been on the top of our list to put under the microscope. Although we loved the original "Picasso-like" design, we felt it needed a more streamlined look and feel so, after many pre-production designs, we finally came up with this new sleek and sexy COBRA Cello. Not only is the aesthetic more artistic and eye-catching, but we re-designed the support system as well. In fact, in the process of re-working the support system, we discovered that the instrument actually is now positioned far better than the original design. As a result, we found there was no more need for the end-pin since you can now sit down comfortably while "wearing" the COBRA Cello. And of course, all you cellists can now have even more fun than ever dancing around onstage!

The Cobra Cello

And although its looks may have changed, the new COBRA Cello features the same mindblowing richness and depth of sound that all our instruments have come to be known for! Cobra

Available in either 4, 5, or 6 string fretted or fretless, and in any color you can possibly imagine, the innovative design of the COBRA Cello utilizes similar techology to that of our Viper Violin by featuring our self-supporting shoulder harness support system (patent pending) which offers unparalleled freedom of movement to the modern cellist along with outstanding quality of tone.
